Our Story

To share my story, I started my business in remembrance of my beloved brother, Mustafa Mohammed “Mu.”. Mustafa was shot and killed in a senseless shooting in November of 2019. He was only sixteen years old at the time. Even at such a young age, Mu was such an inspiring, hard-working young man. He had always dreamed of running his own business. Unfortunately, he had not lived long enough to execute his dream. Losing my brother was one of the most challenging things I’ve had to endure in my life. I felt that I had a duty to carry on his dreams. So in November of 2020, my partner and Mu’s longtime friend, Desirae, and I decided to start Mu’s Boutique in his honor.

Our Mission

We started this business to offer Arabic women a resource to find clothing in the US. Traditionally, Arabic women had a hard time finding clothing that met their needs. Our clothing provides a chic, modern solution that typically eliminates the need for “layering” clothing. Our primary goal is to offer high-quality options that bridge the gap between traditional Arabic and American culture. We do this by meticulously hand-selecting our product lineup with glamorous, form-fitting clothing that ties together commonalities from both cultures.

Every item we select is made of high-quality material and made to last. Our team works very hard to make certain that every item we sell meets your expectations.
